Team Lead

I have always truly cared about animals and their well-being. When the opportunity presented itself to become an Adoption Coordinator with BARC’s Rescue, I knew this was a way that I could help animals and truly make a difference.

Prior to volunteering with BARC’s Rescue, I also volunteered at another animal rescue for a few years.

I have two Chihuahua’s and a cat and they mean the world to me. I adopted my BARC's Rescue foster in September 2022 and it was one the best decisions I have ever made. While fostering her I got to see her come out of her shell, and when I told her she was officially adopted and this was her furever home she climbed onto my bed for the first time (I had been fostering her for 6 weeks), it was like she knew exactly what I was telling her. Fostering gives animals a chance to live in a place that is filled with compassion and love until they can find their furever home.

I am excited to be a part of the BARC’s Rescue team as I love what this rescue represents and with every dog that is saved, and we have found a home for, I know we are making a difference. Being a part of BARC’s has already changed my life and I look forward to what the future has in store.
