Vet Care

I have had dogs all my life, it was when I took on rescuing a dog from Mexico on my own that I realized I had found my calling.

I wanted to volunteer with a rescue that saved dogs from all over the world. BARCs was the rescue for me. People ask all the time "why not save dogs from here" Well we do but dogs do not have passports or borders.

I love the work that I do for BARCs, I also go on transports and get to see the dogs first hand. The quiet, shut down ones break my heart but I know they will be starting a new life with a wonderful family who truly wants to give them the life they deserve. We are not only saving the dog but also the human. It is know that animals can change a humans life for the better.

I have my own BARCs rescue a mini poodle from California. I still to this day cannot understand an owner surrendering her. She is the goofiest dog I think I have ever had. My little 9 pound, horribly matted Mia came into my life. She is now 16 pound and living her best life and I am never letting her go.
