Grizzly (who we are calling Monte) is a young, fun, playful and sassy little guy! He has made a very long journey to Canada all the way from Egypt where he was found abandoned, tied to a pole in the hot sun. Despite his past, this guy loves people and is happy and goofy!

Monte seems to love other dogs, especially ones who will play with him and he would likely benefit from another small, playful dog in his new home. He loves playing with toys, fetching toys, and carrying them around the house in his mouth.

Unfortunately, Monte wants to play with our three cats, which involves chasing them and pouncing on them, so he would do best in a home without cats, or possibly with just one cat who is used to high energy dogs.

Monte has not been around children yet, however older children should be fine. He is a little sensitive to touch at times on his legs and belly, so toddlers and babies would not be a good match for him.

He is great on walks and generally only pulls when he sees another dog he wants to greet, or when he sees a bird that he's convinced he can catch. Otherwise, he walks great on leash and is also great in the car.

He hasn't shown any separation anxiety, although he has bonded pretty strongly to my husband. He isn't overly "barky", just when he wants something (like a cat!) or when playing. He is a very curious boy and doesn't seem to have any fears.

Overall, Monte is such a sweet little guy who just wants to play and be loved. He really is an amazing dog!
