Female, 8 months, heeler/chihuahua X, 15 lbs

Lucy is an adorable puppy who is a joy to have around. She’s full of energy, curious and keen to please. She seems to be super smart, so she’ll be easy to train. We’ve not done any actual training with her at this point, but she’s quick to pick up on cues given. (both verbal and hand signals). Lucy is happy to be in her crate when she needs some quiet time, and does pretty well not having accidents in the house. She is getting along well with our older dog, follows her around and really wants to play. Walking on leash is improving each day, and she loves to play outside in the yard.

Lucy will be a wonderful addition to a home that are looking for a great companion dog that is super affectionate and full of energy. She would do well with children that are 7 yrs. or older, as she is very enthusiastic and likes to jump when greeting. Either a house where she was the only dog in residence or there was a younger dog to interact and play with, would be a good match. Cats seem to be a bit of a concern for her at this point.
