Minnie is an incredible dog. Funny, cuddly, loving. But it’s hard to get there. She’s not a people dog and does use aggression to keep you away. She’s great with my 7-year-old daughter but I wouldn’t say she’s at all trustworthy with kids. She walks well on leash and likes dogs. She’s not into my cat but we are working on it. They are together daily and Minnie listens verbally when she’s looking like she wants to tell my cat to go away. Minnie needs a knowledgeable home with dogs who are social and know the ropes and can help her be her best self. She will walk happily on long walks and does at least an hour a day with us. She’s terrified of people when on leash so we are working on that too, walking by as many as we can. She’s crate trained but will try and cry when you first put her in. I crate her every other night and let her sleep with me on the other nights. She’s a fabulous snuggler. Minnie is such a great girl once you break through her barrier.
