Gracie

Adopted

Description

Female, 11 years, Pomeranian X, 8 lbs

Are you looking for a pint sized, up for anything buddy? Let me introduce you to the little Unicorn Queen, Gracie!

When Gracie arrived from California, she was extremely emaciated and had very little strength. She is not very food motivated which has made nursing her back to a healthy weight very interesting to say the least. We finally found Farm Fresh Cooked Canadian Bacon and Oatmeal is her favourite and Gracie is now consistently eating. She has finally begun to gain energy and muscle which is allowing her adorable personality to shine through.

Gracie is a sassy little lady that LOVES to be with her people. She loves to go for walks, car rides and playing fetch (minus the bringing back to you part). LOL! She also loves having a special, extra fluffy, padded bed to lay and sleep on. It’s probably because she needs all of the extra padding she can get! She really likes to go for walks, play fetch and even tug. She enjoys being groomed, bathed and brushed. She will even sit nicely when she is getting her sweater put on. Gracie will use her little old lady voice when she’s excited but is as quiet as a church mouse otherwise. She does really love a good nap though.

Gracie is a social little lady and enjoys meeting people, big and small. She is also an independent girl so if she doesn’t want to meet someone, she will turn and walk away. She is fine with other animals (big and small) as long as they respect her personal space. I was told Gracie is 11 years old but as her strength is returning, I think she’s younger. She does have a couple of health issues that still need addressing but other than that, Gracie is a little Unicorn Queen! She is a funny, sweet, sassy, independent girl who only wants to be with her people.

Gracie would thrive in a home where her family either works from home, is able to bring Gracie to work with them or are retired. She is a dream to travel with! She would be fine with other animals or as an only pet. Overall, Gracie is an exceptionally sweet and easy dog and would be a great addition to your family.

Gracie is being fostered in Calgary.
