✨ Meet Diamonds — Part-Time Model, Full-Time Negotiator ✨

Diamonds didn’t come from a shelter… she came straight from a very successful career in bribery. If dogs had criminal records, she’d be serving serious time for “treat-based negotiations.”

On day one, Diamonds made it crystal clear she does not work for free—planting herself firmly outside and refusing to come in without proper compensation (bribe #1). Stairs? Same policy. Payment required (bribe #2). Honestly, we respect a girl who knows her worth.

Diamonds is smart, well-mannered, and has adjusted beautifully….. compensation is no longer required - she knows the good-stuff is inside.

She’s absolutely stunning—so much so that the resident dog has noticed… a little too enthusiastically. While she politely shuts down any nonsense, Diamonds carries herself like the classy queen she is. These days, she and her canine roommate can occasionally be caught in a dance-off or a short wrestling match before returning to independent living.

Inside the house, Diamonds is the definition of chill. Forget fancy beds—this girl prefers a good patch of floor like a minimalist icon. She’s slowly discovering toys and is perfectly happy to “borrow” them from the resident dog (finders keepers, apparently).

She’s fully house trained and will politely inform you when she needs out with a sit-and-whine combo at the gate. On walks, she’s a dream—loose leash, patient, and respectful—even when her walking buddy stops every two seconds for a sniff break. She may pause to observe people and dogs like a thoughtful little security guard, and while she does have a bit of prey drive, her version of hunting squirrels and birds is more “enthusiastic observer” than “chaotic chase scene.”

Diamonds is incredibly food motivated (understatement of the year). She takes treats gently and will sit like a perfect lady when snacks are involved. At mealtime, though, her enthusiasm kicks in—she sometimes forgets she’s not in a hot dog eating contest and may try to start early, but she’s working on it. She’s fed separately from the resident dog, and if someone gets too close while she’s eating, she’ll lay on her stomach and “hug” her bowl with her paws while she finishes.

When left alone, Diamonds can be trusted with free range of the house—no destruction, no chaos, just calm vibes. She started off with a little space separation from the resident dog but quickly proved she’s a respectful and easy housemate who can hold her own if needed.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒 Kid Compatibility

Diamonds has not been formally tested in a home with children, but has shown positive signs—she’s happily accepted pets during brief interactions on walks and generally has a calm, easygoing temperament.

When meeting strangers, she soaks up attention and pets and enjoys being admired (as she should!).

💎 Diamonds’ Ideal Home

She’s currently do well in a condo setting and settles beautifully indoors, but would also love a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and explore at her own pace.

Diamonds would thrive in a calm, structured home that appreciates her laid-back nature. She’s a low–moderate energy dog who enjoys daily walks but is happiest relaxing nearby, so a home that balances light activity with plenty of downtime would suit her perfectly.

She would do well with another respectful dog who can match her chill vibe—one that enjoys occasional play but also values personal space. Diamonds is polite but confident enough to set boundaries, so a dog-savvy home is ideal. She could also do well as the only dog, where she can soak up attention (and treats).

A family that’s patient and willing to continue working on her food manners—especially her “not a hot dog eating contest” tendencies—will help her succeed. She’s very smart, eager to learn, and motivated by food, which makes training both fun and rewarding.

Diamonds is a clever, low-maintenance queen with a great personality, a soft spot for snacks, and excellent negotiation skills. She’s equal parts independent and affectionate, with just enough sass to keep life interesting—plus a talent for making the funniest little noises to share her thoughts.

Overall, Diamonds is looking for a home that will:

Appreciate a calm, easygoing companion

Provide routine, boundaries, and positive reinforcement

Provide a safe, loving environment (with unlimited snacks available)

In return, she’ll bring personality, laughs, and a whole lot of charm. 🐾✨
