This girl has such a sweet and happy nature! Her tail is always wagging, and she thrives for affection. I had some time to spend with her to get some more information on how she does outside of the shelter and I must say she is very lovely house guest!
House manners: She's got the basics! She's food motivated so training as needed should be easy
Crate : hasn't been tested being crated when left alone at home, but feel she would settle quickly. She has a very loud voice, so that's something to note of if you have close neighbors (condo, apartment etc)
She has slept soundly in her crate through the night!
Leash walking : she is a dream! She walks loosely beside you for the most part. You won't be pulled off your feet by this lady.
Other dogs : she has a playful and happy demeanor with happy tail wags towards dogs of all sizes when we see them on walks. She doesn't become fixated or continuously pull towards to meet them, she's content with a quick look just in passing. With proper introductions it seems she would enjoy a play mate or another dog.
Car rides: Good in the car! She's just a little disappointed that she can't get belly scratches at the same time you're trying to drive.
Cats: No. We've seen a few on walks, and we'd like to chase them. She is easily corrected with "no" and carries on happily with her walk
People: She loves everyone to bits, BIG people dog ❤️
Kids: her tail wags with excitement when we see them! Older kids would be suggested as she has the potential to be a bit overbearing play wise with the little guys.
