Juan is a handsome, gentle soul who truly feels like the whole package. With his calm, easygoing demeanor and sweet nature, he’s the kind of dog who fits right into your life—and your heart.
This beautiful boy has already mastered sit, learned how to cuddle and give kisses, and is politely working on stay. He settles nicely in his crate after a bit of crying protest and is an absolute dream in the car, happily napping on longer drives. Juan is very quiet overall, but when he does bark, it’s a deep, impressive “guardian” voice that reminds you he’s got presence.
Juan loves people and wants to be wherever his humans are—he’s a loyal little shadow. He’s been friendly with everyone he’s met and has shown no reaction to other dogs so far. At home, he enjoys leisurely naps (especially after dinner), nighttime cuddles, and will happily sleep beside you without hogging the bed or blankets. Despite his love for food, he has wonderful manners and does not beg during meals.
Juan is wonderful on leash—he walks calmly with no pulling at all and will politely sit and wait while you put on or take off his harness, making walks easy and enjoyable.
Juan may be a laid-back cuddle bug, but he also has a playful, goofy side! In the snow, he turns into a bouncy, kangaroo-like goofball and even knows how to catch snow mid-air. He enjoys chewing on bones, though toys haven’t quite caught his interest yet.
One thing to note: Juan loves his food and eats fast, so a slow feeder is a must.
