Meet Your Future Shadow (and Snuggle Champion) 🐾

This sweet boy is the definition of a snuggle bug. Once he finds his person, he bonds deeply and happily stays close—curled up on the couch, the bed, or anywhere he can keep an eye on what’s going on. If you love affection and quiet companionship, he will fit seamlessly into your life.

He has zero aggression and is wonderful with kids. His temperament is gentle, submissive, and eager to please. He rarely barks, and when he does, it’s for a good reason—such as someone entering the home late at night. Otherwise, he’s calm and quiet.

He’s almost fully potty trained and doing extremely well with consistency. Occasionally, he may use a pee pad indoors, but his progress has been excellent—helped by the fact that he’s very treat-motivated and loves to learn.

He has a healthy appetite, travels beautifully in the car (he loves curling up on your lap), and can be left alone for 3–4 hours without issue—no accidents, no chewing, no destruction. Interestingly, despite having toys available, he shows little interest in them. His joy comes from people, not objects.

He does not enjoy being crated and will scratch to get out, so a crate-free home is ideal. He’s proven trustworthy when left loose in the house.

On walks, he can be nervous with loud noises and unfamiliar people, so he does best with shorter, quieter walks and a patient handler who understands that confidence comes with time. He has not yet been introduced to other cats, but given his sweet and submissive nature, he would likely do well with proper, gradual introductions. He is good with dogs, with proper introductions.

He’s learning household boundaries—like staying out of the kitchen—and responds well to calm, consistent reminders.

Ideal Home:

A loving household with at least one person who genuinely enjoys cuddling. A calm environment, patience on walks, and a heart open to a loyal companion will bring out the very best in him.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate dog who will choose you and never look back, this little guy is ready to come home.

Adoption costs: $650.00
