Meet Danielle - but everyone calls her Dani!
Dani girl is a petite Boxer-X sweetheart with a whole lot of love packed into her ~30-lb frame. At under 8 months old, she’s still very much a puppy - curious, playful, and learning the world one joyful discovery at a time. She's just happy to be included.
She’s already impressing everyone with her lovely leash manners: Dani walks beautifully without pulling, happily ignores squirrels and rabbits, and has shown sweet interest in kids she meets along the way. Potty training is still a work in progress (she is a baby after all!), but with consistency and routine, she'll be well on her way.
One of Dani’s most endearing qualities is how she’s just discovered toys. Her current soulmates are a small pink pig & a nyla bone, and she’ll head to her forever home with her very own 'Pengy' the penguin. Food also ranks high on her list of passions - this girl does not miss a meal (or treat)!
Dani does well in her crate during the day, cries for a bit but settles quickly, though she’d much rather be out with her furry friends. At night, she does wonderfully sleeping in the bedroom without a crate, ideally tucked under the blankets, where she is happiest. She’s a true snuggle bug who loves being close and cozy.
She gets along beautifully with the resident dogs in her foster home and would absolutely thrive with a canine buddy. She has a 'punchy'-style of play, which is the boxer in her, and is easily redirected if she gets carried away. While a fairly confident little thing, stairs are very scary, and she is working on finding her courage.
Given her desire to please, manageable size, and affectionate personality, we think she’d be a fantastic match for a family with kids - especially one looking for a dog they can include in everyday life and adventures.
Like any puppy, Dani has energy and will need a committed home willing to provide training, boundaries, and a consistent schedule. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving, adventure-ready companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side (or under your blanket). Plus, she is cute as a button.
