Meet Minerva 💕
At just one year old, Minerva is full of energy and joy! She adjusted to her new surroundings right away and quickly made herself at home.
Minerva walks beautifully on leash and loves meeting other dogs. She’s excellent in the car -even when left alone, she simply curls up on the seat and waits patiently. When riding along, she likes to perch on the console and rest her head on your shoulder - it’s her favorite spot!
She gets along wonderfully with the resident cats, backing off when they’ve had enough but often curling up beside them on her foster’s lap. Minerva is also a total cuddle bug who adores being close to her people.
She’s reliable with her bathroom routine as long as she’s let out regularly and sleeps through the night (a solid 8 hours!) with no accidents. Minerva is a quiet little dog — not yappy at all - though she’ll give a couple of happy woofs when someone comes to the door or when passing other dogs on walks.
Cautious with strangers at first, she warms up quickly and is always happy once she feels comfortable.
Because of her high energy, Minerva would do best in a home with another playful dog, older children (12+), or with someone who’s home much of the day. She wouldn’t thrive being left alone for long hours right now.
Minerva will make someone a wonderful, loving companion - full of fun, affection, and loyalty. 💛
