Tiny Tim (aka Timmy, aka TimBit, aka lil’ Tim and the list goes on) was found as a stray, but you would never know it from looking at him! He’s only been with me for a few days, but has already solidified himself as a neighbourhood favourite, we can never get far without someone stopping to comment on how cute he is!

He’s definitely in the baby shark stage right now, where he loves to nibble on fingers and noses with his sharp little puppy teeth, which we are trying to put a stop to, but I suspect he will outgrow pretty quickly anyway!

Timmy loves his people and loves following them around like a shadow all day. I work from home, and as long as he gets some breaks to play fetch or walk, he has started spending most of his time snoozing on my lap while I work. Between my sister and I, he really hasn’t had to spend much time alone, but because he is still in his destructive puppy phase we would put him in the crate if he had to be alone for any extended period of time. He currently sleeps in crate at night, and while he cried for a little while the first night, he’s been fine in it since then, and so far (knock on wood) has been sleeping through the night until 7 or 8!

Potty training is a work in progress but it is going well overall! We try to take him out every hour or so, although he is still having the occasionally accident in the house and hasn’t gotten the hang of telling us when he needs to go out.

Timmy is currently the only dog in our house, but he gets along great with my parents three large dogs when we go visit! He’s a little nervous upon first meeting, but makes friends very fast, and then loves to zoom around and occasionally bark in their faces, which some of them react better too than others, but he’s been pretty good at learning their unique boundaries! I would love for him to go to a house with another dog of any size! We have a resident cat that he has shown some interest in (he tried to follow her into the litter box once, which she put a very quick stop to) but is never aggressive towards, never barks at and mostly respects!

Timmy loves walks and moves pretty quick for someone with such little legs! He has been such a joy to foster, and is going to make the right family very happy!
