Midge is a sensitive soul who’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. In her foster home, she’s truly blossomed - showing off her sweet, playful side and soaking up all the affection she can get. Once she feels safe, Midge becomes a total cuddle bug, and with her incredibly soft fur, it’s nearly impossible not to snuggle her all day long.

New environments and new people can make her nervous, so she’ll thrive in a calm, patient home that can help her continue to build confidence. She hasn’t been around children, but because she’s still working on her manners and can be overwhelmed by too much energy, a home without small kids would likely be the best fit.

Car rides? Not her thing—yet. Midge is working on this with her foster family, taking short trips to fun destinations with tasty treats, but she still finds car travel stressful. Her ideal family will be understanding and committed to helping her learn that the car can lead to good things.

Midge gets along beautifully with the other dogs in her foster home—playing, cuddling, and just enjoying their company. Having another calm, confident dog around would be a big help as she continues to grow and feel secure in her surroundings.

She does have a chicken allergy, so she’ll need a diet free of chicken, but with so many tasty options out there, that’s an easy fix.
