Bonnie is an energetic girl who just wants to be around her people. She loves to go for walks and explore the world around her but also enjoys good pets and cuddles.
Bonnie is house-trained, although sometimes her excitement gets the best of her and tiny accidents happen. She’s working on being calm indoors and saving her energy for walks and playtime outside. She walks great on leash and is building confidence when encountering other dogs and people. She is very calm and well-behaved in the car and loves to stick her head out to watch the world go by. She very rarely barks but will express herself vocally when she’s excited. She’s good with her crate and peacefully sleeps in it every night.
When it comes to other dogs, she’s very curious but also a little nervous and unsure. Sometimes she’s okay with meeting a new friend, and other times she makes it clear she needs space — it really depends on the dog. She could potentially live with another dog with proper introductions and if they have the right personality. She currently lives with a senior dog, and they do very well together.
She does not have any experience with cats, but she does show some prey drive toward rabbits and squirrels, so a cat may not be a good fit. She’s a little nervous when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. She doesn’t have experience with children, but with her sweet and loving nature, we believe she would likely do well with them.
If you’re looking for a loving and affectionate companion to share the world with, this is your girl!
