Do they bark? Yes, she has a loud bark and can be quite relentless with it but her lips look adorable when she barks which makes up for it!

Are they house-trained? Mostly. It is very rare for her to have an accident in the house. We still supervise her but she seems almost completely house trained now!

Are they good in the car? She has only been in the car with somebody sitting in the back seat with her so far but has been okay.

Are they good on leash? She walks well on leash but will need a significant amount of help with her leash reactivity when she sees other dogs. Note that due to her reactivity to dogs she is not a candidate for off-leash parks.

Pellegrino has been such a joy to foster! She has SO much personality and is the silliest little girl. She absolutely adores all people and wants to be by your side constantly - letting her sit on your lap and sleep in your bed is a must. We have a 20 lb dog that she absolutely adores! They play constantly and she loves to clean his face and ears and give him non-stop kisses!

She has a lot of separation anxiety and will need a home where someone is home most of the time (working from home, retired, etc.). Because of her barking she is not suitable for apartments. She is working on crate training - so far she goes into her crate just fine but will bark and cry quite loud when inside of it.

She is high energy and is more than happy to snuggle on the couch for a nap but will need a lot of mental and physical exercise daily to keep her happy and could easily keep up beside you on runs or bike rides. She is listed as Corgi/Pomeranian but we think she definitely has Red Heeler in her too - she has the drive of a working breed dog and can get quite fixated on things (she could probably run for hours without even starting to get worn out).

She is an incredible dog but she will need a very dedicated owner that has experience working with leash & barrier reactivity (ideally in working breed / high energy dogs).

Adoption costs: $650.00
