Windy was brought to us from The Beagle Alliance after she was rescued from a lab where she has lived her whole life.
Windy is a very friendly and affectionate dog. Although she's had a tough past (being used as a lab dog), she is very trusting and sweet. Windy loves to go out for walks and is fairly high energy. We're working on her not pulling on the leash, but she's getting better. Although she isn't fully house trained yet, she's getting better at going outside. Windy is great with our resident dog, George, although she has gotten nervous around other dogs on walks. She hasn't been around kids yet, but judging from how she is with us, I think she would be great with older kids (she's still learning to not jump up on people). Windy is fairly quiet, but she has let out a beagle howl a few times when she's excited. Windy will be happiest in an active home with people who give her lots of attention (maybe even work from home). She'll need some patience, but she's an amazing little dog who has a lot of love to give.
