Hi there! I was given the name Anka at the shelter, I’m just learning my name. But you can pick a name and teach me that means me!

I am a sweet cuddly boy and I want to show you how much I can love you.

I do well with other dogs but don’t really seem too interested in them honestly. I’m curious about all the new smells on my walks but rarely pay attention to other dogs, bikes, cars or joggers.

I have been working hard on my potty training and I’m fully trained now with no accidents in the house. I sniff around the door when I need to go out.

I am getting used to my crate and am starting to understand that it is my very own safe place. I will go in if you just give me a little nudge. Sometimes I even like to sit in there calmly during the day. I do sleep in my crate at night. I’d rather sleep next to you or even on your lap but I understand when you ask me to come off or down. If I cry or bark in the crate soft music helps me settle down.

Walking on a leash? I am so easy on a leash and I’ll follow right behind you wherever you want to go. Walks are a breeze and I love the spring air!

I’m not sure what to do with toys yet but a good bone to chew is just perfect to keep me busy for a while.

I still have a lot to learn and haven’t been taught any basic commands even though I’m not a puppy anymore. I sure like treats so I should be easy to train.

I can be a bit possessive of women in the family. I just love them so much! My foster mom is teaching me that everything is ok and they don’t need my protection from anything. I like the men in the family when they give me pets and treats, but girls are just better in my opinion. When I met kids on the street they have been a bit scary. Even teenagers can be overwhelming. I might get used to them with lots of patience.
