Cookie (AKA Lucy) is a very well-mannered, calm, polite, and gentle pup with the most soulful eyes. She walks great on leash, is dog friendly, and house trained. Also crate trained and sleeps through the night with no issues.

It is worth noting that she is initially timid of strangers but it does not take her long to warm up. When she first arrived, she was scared and shut-down, but the magic of a proper decompression period worked wonders for her. Within a day she was seeking attention, and within a few days she was feeling completely at ease and at home. I am now greeted with the cutest little chirps, butt wiggles, and play bows, and she has quickly bonded with the resident dogs.

Cookie has exhibited no food aggression or resource guarding tendencies. She would be a candidate for condo living as she is a short-stack, quiet, and petite at only 35 lbs. Due to her submissive nature and initial shyness of strangers, she would be best suited for a quieter home and ideally one with another dog (although not mandatory if her person is home a lot). She has not been around cats or children while with me but I believe she would be fine with both, although likely better with older, calm children as sudden movements and loud noises do startle her.

It's hard to say what mix she is but she looks like a Basset Hound crossed with a pocket-pittie or possibly even Jack Russell. Totally adorable. Cookie is an absolute sweetheart and will make an amazing addition to almost any family. She is one of the easiest, calmest, most well-mannered house guests I have had!
