Tegan is a happy, sweet girl who just wants to be loved! The vets guesstimated her age around 2 but she acts very much like a puppy! She wiggles her whole body with excitement when she sees anyone she knows. She loves to be picked up and gives kisses! Tegan loves to play with her toys and is really good at bringing the ball back to you so you can throw it for her to chase.
Tegan is great with other dogs and has shown no interest in the resident cat. Tegan would do well with another dog to play with.

Tegan doesn’t let her past show, but we do believe she wasn’t well cared for. She has scars on her ears that we believe were caused by fighting for food, although there is not a mean bone in this girl's body. She has insecurities around food, believed to be from not receiving regular meals, but has never shown food aggression.

Tegan’s one dislike is snow. She does not want to go outside when it’s snowing or cold but has done well with pee pads.

This sweet girl would likely fit into almost any family as she’s happy no matter what!
