Sandra Dee is a smart dog and definitely has potential to be a sniffing dog! When on walks, she will sniff out all sorts of things – whether or not you want to see what she finds! She does not love being brushed or having her nails clipped but, she LOVES water and would shower with you if you let her.
Loves to go on long walks, especially where there is water to jump into and tall grass to run through. When in the backyard, she loves to play fetch or relax and chew on her bones (the bigger the better according to her).

Still learning that the cat is not another dog and may not appreciate how she initiates play. She is great with children and wants to be part of the family action.
She is crate trained and housetrained. She is pretty good on a leash but, does pull and wants to go see other dogs when encountered. She knows how to sit and is still working on stay and “off”. We also continue to work on her recall.

Sandra Dee is currently a solo dog but wouldn’t mind having a friend. She would benefit from more socialization with other dogs to correct her behaviour when on a leash. She is high energy but knows when it’s time to chill.

She wants to please her people and would do super well with more training. She is very athletic and would love to be a companion running dog or join you when camping near a lake – which she will explore.
