Just like the fictional tv character she was named after, Rachel will truly be one of your best Friends.
Rachel is a smart, beautiful (pictures cannot capture her true beauty), and confident little lady who LOVES to play! She has a gorgeous soft coat with beautiful markings. She adores stuffed toys, balls, and nylon bones to chew, but the toy she loves the most is the one her foster brother is currently chewing on! Rachel’s personality has continued to evolve, and she is a very energetic pup who is gaining confidence every day. She loves her foster siblings, but is good about respecting the older dogs boundaries. Rachel walks very well on a leash, and is learning to go to the bathroom while on her walks. When she is nervous or unsure of something new, her reaction is to bark (people in snow suits, other dogs barking outside, rabbits, garbage bags), and we are working on confidence building with positive reinforcement training. She is very smart and already starting to catch on, and I have no doubt with continued training and socialization she will do well. Rachel sleeps well in her crate at night, and currently tends to wake up once during the night to go outside (although she has slept through on occasion with no accidents). She is doing very well with potty training and is having fewer accidents in the house. She was initially a little nervous traveling in the car but is also getting used to this. Rachel currently lives with two large breed adult dogs and a cat. She loves to go find the cat and will bark but keeps her distance. Rachel will likely be a fairly athletic dog with medium energy, and would do well in a moderately active home. She currently gets her highest energy boosts in the evening, and does well with a walk or some play time in order to settle down for bed.
This sweet and spirited gal will keep you laughing and be your best Friend forever.
