After coming all the way from South Korea as a part of the dog meat trade, Nala's whole life has been turned upside down once again. After 4 years of being in what she thought would be her forever home, her owner was no longer "able/willing" to give her the attention she needed. Nala will be very very shy at first (understandably), her defense mechanism is to bark at you until she is comfortable with you. She loves to be outdoors and her owner used to run with her for miles and miles a day. The owner got married and they had kids and Nala was then put aside. She was unsocialized with the kids and she is very nervous and scared around kids and just wanted to be outside in her space. Nala also became leash aggressive when overstimulated around dogs out on the street, however, she lived with another dog (which they kept). Nala is very smart, she is well behaved & house trained.

She is 4 1/2-5 yrs old and approximately 45 lbs. She is a Jindo and they are very lean dogs
All shots, spayed and microchipped
Must have yard - she loves to be outside
No kids - makes her nervous and she runs away from them
Female owner preferred but okay with males
Is apprehensive with new people - just needs time and space to get to know you
Walks well on leash - she can be reactive on leash when overstimulated
Loves treats & bedtime biscuit
Reacts to small barking dogs
Once she acclimated she is playful and loves you to run after her

Nala's perfect home would be with someone who is patient and will give Nala time to acclimate. A quiet house (not a house with lots of people) with a yard where she can just hang out in and play with her toys. She is easy to care for and has very simple needs.
