Hi, I'm Buford (but my foster family calls me Pippin). I'm just a little guy, 44 lbs. I'm high-energy and love to walk, run and swim, but I'll happily nap all morning and afternoon after I've gotten to go for a walk. I'd be an amazing hiking buddy!

I'm great with dogs, kids, and I love all people. I'm not good with cats. I'm a really big cuddler and LOVE to be close to you. I'm housetrained and will happily use the yard or a walk to relieve myself. I'm highly food motivated and very trainable! I can be reactive with other dogs on leash (I bay because I'm just so excited), but I'm quickly learning to be calm and let dogs pass by when I'm given treats for being a good boy.

I have separation anxiety when left alone out of my crate, but if you leave me in my crate when you go out a remain calm. I'd do best in an active home with someone around most of the day, and with someone who would like to love and be loved by a very affectionate, sweet, playful, cuddly companion.
