Hi, my name is Kevin,
I’m quite the cool dude, just look at me!! I’m social and affectionate and will play with other dogs and some other dogs annoy me but I'm pretty tolerant. I communicate with other dogs really well, so they know exactly what I'm comfortable with. I was around a cat and showed no prey drive but it’s hard to assess that in a shelter environment. I will do best in a home with older children who are respectful as some I can cower at fast movement and get nervous. I know you will fall in love with me, it’s a face only a mother could love!

Here are so wonderful things that my foster family has said about me 😊
Kevin loves people and affection. Heaven to Kevin is a good cuddle, belly, or head scratch. If you will let him fall asleep in your arms, he will be the happiest dog ever.
Kevin hates his crate 100% he has only spent 1 night in it, and it was a long night as he complained and rattled the crate for quite some time. He would rather curl up with a blanket on one of the dog beds.

Kevin has a bizarre fear of squirrels, once he barks and chases them away, he will crawl onto your lap and shake until he feels better. Kevin doesn’t know how to play with toys, he is unsure what to do with them at all.

I took Kevin to the groomer and when I went to pick him up, he was asleep in the front desk girls’ arms. He had zero problem with the bath or nail trim, wasn’t a fan of the blow dryer. No problems in the car, enjoys car rides. He does well on a leash until you encounter other dogs, we have been working on this and it is improving.

Kevin is incredibly smart; he picks up things very quickly and just wants to please you. He is taking cues from my dog on how to behave and just soaking them up. There is no food/water/treat aggression at all.

As much as he loves to be lazy and cuddle there is a lot of puppy energy there and he needs to be walked daily, he may do well without a large yard if he is walked. He needs someone with patience as he is still learning, and I don’t think he has been exposed to a lot of things like other animals or toys etc.

He is an amazing pup with so much love to give.
