Chrissy is a wonderful dog who would suite a lot of households. She is much smaller than she looks in pictures, at only 27 pounds she looks like a miniature Labrador. Chrissy is great with kids and other dogs. She is good with children handling her, but she does not have very much energy when it comes to being playful. She prefers to spend her days lounging around, hanging around the family and staying relatively quiet. Chrissy is very quiet inside the house, but she will bark outside in the yard when she sees or hears someone walk by. She does not bark in the house when the doorbell rings or when someone comes inside even if the other dogs are barking. Chrissy is food motivated and does need to continue to work on her basic training. She is learning to sit and stay especially when it comes to feeding time when she is eager to eat. She is not food aggressive and can easily have her bowl taken away from her. She is a gentle, submissive type of dog, who appears to be house trained as she has never had an accident in our care. She has been known to steal shoes and deposit them in various locations around the house. She has never chewed these shoes, but it is something to keep an eye on. Chrissy is good during walks and does not pull on her leash. I am unsure how she is with cats because I don't have any and we have never encountered any on our walks. Chrissy would be suited to a variety of homes including older people, low energy families or lower energy individuals. She is a very sweet dog who would make a wonderful addition to a household.
Chrissy had 8 puppies 3 months ago. Mama Chrissy is just a delight! She has a very sweet and gentle nature. She has been very quiet, and I think catching up on her beauty rest. She loves to be brushed, belly, rubs, and peanut butter bones.
