Hi! I'm Finn and my foster family tells me I am just the sweetest and goofiest beagle dude; I LOVE love and all attention. I fit right in and became close pals with my beagle foster brothers (12 y/o & 2 y/o) and keep up just fine with the crazy puppy for the most part, him and I run around and play chase in the yard lots.
I love to be pet and scratched and sunbathing is my fav on sunny days. Blankets are my addiction; I nest and toss them all around until I'm covered up nice and warm. Leash walking is good exercise for me (psst, I used to be a bit on the chubby side but my foster mom and dad helped me lose 14lbs!).... they say I'm a bit of a leash puller, I am a beagle, so I really like to sniff all the things and try to say hello (friendly) to other dogs on the pathways, we are working on this as I get a little sidetracked. My left leg is a bit bow legged but that doesn't slow me down or hold me back at all. Squeaky balls/toys and little stuffies (must de-stuff!) are my favorite to play with, but I promise I won't chew your things. I'm OK to be left alone in the house uncrated while you're at work or out of the house, I'll just sleep in my bed(s) until you get home... and when you get home, you'll be welcomed with the biggest beagley welcome ever - I'm not an overly vocal beagle but sometimes I like to share some stories of my day with you or talk to other dogs that walk by the yard. My foster parents are so proud of me as I have not had one accident in the house. I’ve also been told that I am good on car rides!
All dogs and humans can be my friends, and I even hung out with some kitty cats and loved them too. My foster mom and dad love me so much, they think I'd be a great addition to any family that has another dog in the house for company, but I think I'd be OK as a single dog as long as I get lots of love, support and attention. I do have a heart murmur which is controlled by my medications, it sometimes makes me cough if I get too excited or if it's chilly out, but this doesn't slow me down either. I'm a tough, silly and happy boy whose tail is constantly wiggling.
