Mac is very sweet, social and affectionate. Mac Is dog friendly and is treat motivated. She loves to be around her people.
Mac is a hunk of burning love. She is such a sweet, gentle, young dog. Her leash skills are a 10/10, she never pulls, she’s very sensitive and responsive to leash pressure, and will often happily follow behind you on a walk. She loves to nap and cuddle up beside her people. She is currently living with her foster brother, who is on the petite side. She matches his level of energy and is polite when she plays with him. She absolutely adores having other dogs around, but another dog is not necessary in her forever home!
She is currently being house trained, and crate trained. She is catching on quickly to house training, although to keep her from having an accident in the house when she’s left alone, keeping her in her crate will suffice, but putting her in a confined room with a toy and her bed is what she likes best! She doesn’t like her crate but will go inside overnight. She sleeps through the night silently (other than her little snores) and prefers a blanket covering her crate.
Mac came to us as a very fearful dog. She requires a slow introduction to any new people but will very soon be asking for cuddles. A home that can give her a more or less regular routine would suit her best, as a routine will help her confidence grow even more. Mackie has improved so much since we got her, and we are sure she will continue to improve.
