Archie is such a wonderful dog. He is absolutely amazing with our kids and so loving. He is very docile and friendly to humans and loves to cuddle on the couch and play fetch. He greets visitors at our house with a wagging tail. He is reactive on leash with large and small dogs where he pulls and barks a lot. He will need training on that. Otherwise, he walks very nicely and is fine in the car. He gets along so well with our resident small dog. They play together all the time; he does show some resource guarding to him occasionally but nothing major. A home with another playful dog buddy would be great as he has become fast friends with ours but maybe not an "alpha". Or he would be a wonderful single dog. Unfortunately, he thinks our cat is prey and loves to chase so he would do best in a no cat home. He is housetrained and happy to sleep in his crate after he settles which takes about 15 minutes. We have also left him out overnight, but he tends to bark at unknown sights and sounds so is better in his crate. He knows sit, come, and stay, and we are working on no barking. We think he has some terrier in him as he has a beautiful wiry coat and is happy to be brushed and groomed. He is a precious boy with so much love to give!
