Winnie is a sweet little love bug who will be your best friend forever, sticking by your side, on your lap, or close to you. Her favourite things are snuggling, napping, sunbathing (she will find the one sun spot on the floor and lie there), playing with toys by herself, going for walks, and food! She is great on leash and greets new people and dogs with a friendly wag of her tail. She is confident when walking in busy areas and while she can be slightly nervous of new situations, she's a curious girl and will overcome this by observing and sticking it out until she knows it's totally safe (e.g. going down vinyl-covered stairs and going in the car, which she's now a champ at).

She is sweet and friendly with people, including kids, and has been good with new dogs she meets on walks (not cat-tested). She shows interest in birds and squirrels, looking at them, but hasn't seemed motivated to chase them. She goes to the bathroom outside with one- or two-house accidents in her first week (my fault for not letting her out quickly enough).

She likes to play with toys and will amuse herself chewing on a toy or Kong and hasn’t chewed anything inappropriate. She is a smart girl and will learn commands easily. Her love of food and lack of pickiness will certainly help with this! She is a great eater.

She would do well in a home with other dogs or also as the only pupper. As a love bug, she would probably love a home where her person or people are home most of the day and, as a bright girl, where she can have enrichment activities such as nose work, working for her food, learning commands and tricks.

She is great in the bath and loves the massage! She also loves to be rubbed with a towel and to snuggle under blankets.

She will make a lucky family/person so happy with her easygoing, loving nature. Just one look in her big brown eyes will make you want to love and care for this sweetest of girls.
