Hi, my name is Garth. I have had a rough start to my life so I’m hoping to find a loving home that I deserve! I am a super easy going and low energy dog for my young age. I have two older foster brothers that I love looking up to and following around so a forever sibling would be so fun! I also get to play with my two human foster siblings who are 5 and 3 and I love them so much. They give me lots of treats and attention! I haven’t met any cats yet, but my foster family doesn’t think I’ll have a problem with them since I’m so such an easy-going guy.
My foster mom takes me for lots of walks so I’m getting pretty good on a leash! I still get a little bit nervous when I’m out and about, especially those scary black garbage bins! As long as my foster mom is close by to reassure me, I know I’ll be okay. I’ve only had 2 accidents in the house so I’m learning really fast to go to the bathroom outside! Sometimes my foster brothers bark at people walking by, so I follow along and bark too, but I’m mostly very quiet and don’t have much to say. I love sleeping in my crate at night and I always sleep all night long for my foster family! When my family leaves the house, I’m happy to go into my crate and wait for them to get home. I’m still learning my manners and how to be an indoor dog so I need a home that will be patient and loving. With a little bit of time, training, and A LOT of snuggles, I’ll make a fantastic family very happy! I can’t wait to meet you!

This young guy comes from a neglect situation in Smokey Lake. The Humane Society was involved and was forcing the removal of several dogs from the home. He was at risk of euthanasia if a home could not be found immediately, but we were able to find a foster home for him.
