Special/Medical Needs: Separation Anxiety, Detached housing only
Estimated Energy Level: Low - Medium
Current Location: At BARC’s Facility in Airdrie

Elton is currently at our Airdrie facility looking for a foster family to love him. He has been there way too long and would love a family of his own.

Elton creates strong bonds with the humans that show him love and affection. He is loyal to a fault when he gets to know you. He is very intelligent and has adjusted to his routine at the facility and is a favorite of both staff and volunteers. He will greet everyone who arrives at the facility and show them his toys!

This big fluffy guy is amazing on a leash but prefers a slower pace with lots of sniffing. He likes other dogs provided the other dog is lower energy and respectful of his space. He would be good with older kids, as he does value his personal space. Elton is food motivated which will be of value in training him.

Elton was rescued from a hoarding situation, so he has a bit of separation anxiety once he knows you are his person. But that is only because he loves you so much! He would be best suited for a detached home.

If you would like to come and meet this handsome guy, please fill out a foster application.
