Violet is a very sweet and loving dog. She has been through some tough times in her past, so she will need to be in a home with someone who has a lot of patience and time to spend with her, to show her that the world can be a safe place.

She is fearful of many sounds and fast movements. So, a quieter home may be best for her. She will be okay in a home with older children who will give her the space and time she needs to get comfortable.

She loves to run around in the backyard and people watch. We are currently working on going for walks as things can easily scare her, so every day we go a bit further and she’s doing very well but it will take some time to go for long walks.

She gets along well with the resident dogs and cat. She is fearful of unfamiliar dogs, but once she’s comfortable with them she just wants to play.

She loves to play with her toys! She is a very playful girl once she becomes comfortable around you.

Violet will take a little bit to come out of her shell, but when she does, she’s such a sweet, loving, and playful girl.
