Asima is looking for his forever home.

He is a nervous guy and will need a patient family to help him gain confidence and learn about all the wonderful things in store for him in his new life in Canada!

Asima doesn’t bark, is good in his kennel, and is on friendly terms with the resident cat.

He enjoys his walks and is practicing how to heel and sit. He is learning not to pull and is making some progress with his leash training.

Asima startles easily and can be overwhelmed with loud traffic, noises or changes. He is slow to meet people and is also still deeply suspicious of all cars. He would do well with a playful dog in the house that helps him come out of his shell.

He has a natural dignified way about him, and has a sensitive, observant personality. He is always watching for clues to understand his new environment, and has potential to be a very trainable, responsive dog.

If you are looking for a sensitive, sweet guy, Asima is a dog that will be a handsome best friend to a patient home.
