Nala is a soft and cuddly love bug that will be happy to spend a night next to you on the couch or join you on a long walk through the neighbourhood.

She adores humans and would love to become your shadow. She has a goofy personality, lots of character, and enjoys playing and chew toys and highly food motivated.

Nala is housebroken, kennel trained, and rarely barks. She does well in the car as long as she’s confined to the back seat, or she’d prefer to be in your lap while you drive.

She knows her name and some commands like sit and stay. She is trained on a leash and has been responding well to training to teach her to not pull/heal. She does react to seeing other dogs while on walks. She would benefit from some more training or attending a class or two with her people.

She is full of energy and sometimes gets too excited but is very smart and listens very well.

Nala is fearful of other dogs and presents with aggression. She is also very prey driven. She will need an experienced and patient human willing be consistent and regimented in her training to become less reactive to other dogs and animals.

We’re not sure how she does with children, but she hasn’t met an adult she didn’t love yet.

Please be aware that she absolutely cannot be placed in a home with any other dogs or animals at this point. Anyone willing to make her their one and only and put in the time and effort to support her will have a loyal and loving companion.
